For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been surrounded by chickens. So, it comes as no surprise that the love and passion I had for raising chickens while growing up has never left me.
I was born to parents who were both teachers and who had a passion for farming. My mother introduced me to the love of raising free-range chickens or, as they are called in Sesotho, “Likhoho tsa Sesotho”.
Thaba Madiba farm opened its doors to the community and the world in 2017. Our aim is to share our wholesome free range chickens and eggs with you while uplifting the people in our community. We are also looking to extend our range to goats, sheep, cows and ducks in the very near future.
